Volleyball Recap: Concord Academy Wins Going Away Against Metrolina Christian Academy + How To Watch

Concord Academy hadn't done well against Metrolina Christian Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Eagles blew past the Warriors 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Warriors on September 2nd, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

Concord Academy had a senior duo take command as Emma Moose had 15 digs and three aces and Addison Jones had 13 assists and ten digs. Jones is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Isabella Williams also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Concord Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Concord Academy will take on Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they will challenge Gaston Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
