Softball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Sussex Central Golden Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Senators of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sussex Central, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Dover will take on Early College at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sussex Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-2 victory against Delmar on the 10th.
