Soccer Game Preview: Tompkins vs. Jordan

The Tompkins Falcons will square off against the Jordan Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tompkins comes in on ten and Jordan on seven.

Tompkins' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Katy Taylor. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Tompkins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Katy Taylor are ranked 191st).

Meanwhile, Jordan's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Paetow by a score of 2-0. Give Jordan's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Tompkins' victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-1.
