Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dillon couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Manavian, who threw for 274 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Manavian's passing game has become a key predictor of the Landsharks' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Oceanside Collegiate Academy's leading receiver Anthony Williams was Manavian's top target yet again, picking up 123 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Dillon's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Dillon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they will square off against Loris on Friday. The Landsharks will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
