Andrew Ploetner Game Report: vs Temple Christian

Andrew Ploetner made a splash, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Temple Christian last Tuesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than seven strikeouts. On the season, Ploetner has an ERA of 1.98 over 17.7 innings pitched.

Ploetner and Faith Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westover Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
