Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Melina Chin and Evelyn Ho Lead Mission San Jose to Victory

Mission San Jose's tournament run continued when they took on Pinole Valley on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Leading Mission San Jose to victory were Evelyn Ho and Melina Chin. Ho had five digs and two aces, while Chin had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave Chin a new career-high. Arisna Saha also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Mission San Jose's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Pinole Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-11 record.

Mission San Jose didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Albany on the 4th. As for Pinole Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Washington on the 4th.
