Basketball Recap: Bedford North Lawrence Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Bedford North Lawrence won the last time they faced Edgewood and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bedford North Lawrence Stars walked away with a 61-54 win over the Edgewood Mustangs.

Despite the loss, Edgewood still got an impressive performance from Carson Huttenlocker, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 19 points. That's the most points Huttenlocker has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Kamren Ranard, who posted nine points.

Bedford North Lawrence is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Edgewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
