The King/Drew Golden Eagles will take on the Bravo Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. King/Drew is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

King/Drew is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Port of Los Angeles just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 8-4 to the Polar Bears.

King/Drew saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hades Carranza, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Monroe typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Bravo proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a run and slipped past the Vikings 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since April 13, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Anthony Chavez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

King/Drew's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Bravo, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

King/Drew suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Bravo when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
