Football Recap: Wooster Takes a Loss

Wooster fell victim to South Tahoe and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Vikings 41-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Colts came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 54th in Nevada, while the Vikings are ranked 806th in California).

Wooster dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for South Tahoe, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wooster will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Damonte Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for South Tahoe, they will head out to face off against Churchill County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
