Meanwhile, James Monroe put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Brentsville District 64-34. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 matchups by 26 points or more this season.

James Monroe pushed their record up to 23-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.8 points over those games. As for Hopewell, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.
