Baseball Game Preview: Asher Indians vs. Tupelo Tigers

Asher is 2-8 against Tupelo since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Asher will challenge Tupelo at 4:45 p.m. The contest will give Asher their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Last Saturday, Asher didn't have quite enough to beat Broken Bow and fell 7-6. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Tupelo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-2 to Wright City, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Tupelo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Asher, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Asher suffered a grim 11-2 defeat to Tupelo in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Asher avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
