Western Sierra Collegiate Academy came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Encina Bulldogs 11-0. Considering the Wolves have won five matchups by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Tadhg Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Encina, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy beat the Bulldogs by a score of 16-3 on Saturday.
