Sam Powell produced another solid performance rushing for 129 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 184 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (125.8). A healthy portion of Powell's aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Jaden Judd.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Barron Collier was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 343 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 51.2 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 272.3.

Meanwhile, Aubrey Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Immokalee and fell 47-3. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 449th, while the Indians are ranked 188th).

Barron Collier's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Aubrey Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-6.

Barron Collier was able to grind out a solid win over Aubrey Rogers when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 62-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
