Baseball Recap: Weston Wildcats vs. Acton-Boxborough Revolution
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Weston ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Acton-Boxborough Revolution by a score of 6-3. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Revolution recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Aidan Murphy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over eight innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
