Softball Recap: Milpitas Takes a Loss

Milpitas fell victim to Valley Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Valley Christian Warriors, falling 14-0. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Milpitas saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was April Price, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Milpitas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Valley Christian, their record now sits at 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milpitas will take on King's Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Christian, they will challenge Live Oak at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.
