Volleyball Recap: Aubrey White and Shelby Matteson Secure Win for Milton

The Milton Eagles were able to grind out a solid victory over the Glynn Academy Terrors on Friday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Leading Milton to victory were Shelby Matteson and Aubrey White. Matteson had four digs and three aces, while White had seven digs and two assists. Those three aces gave Matteson a new career-high.

Milton's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Milton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West Forsyth on the 9th. As for Glynn Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Creekview on the 8th.
