Basketball Game Preview: Verrado Vipers vs. Eastmark Firebirds

The Verrado Vipers will be taking part in a tournament against the Eastmark Firebirds at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

Verrado saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 71-43 loss at the hands of High Tech SD. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Vipers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 254th in Arizona, while the Storm are ranked 764th in California).

Meanwhile, Eastmark beat Ironwood 49-36 on Thursday.

Verrado's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Eastmark, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
