Baseball Game Preview: Bracken Christian Warriors vs. Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars

The Bracken Christian Warriors will face off against the Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Bracken Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Sacred Heart just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 4-0 to the Indians.

Bracken Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dalton Dresch, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. Dresch is on a roll when it comes to triples, as he's now hit at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bishop Reicher Catholic's offense. They lost 10-0 to Hill Country Christian on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Reicher Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bracken Christian, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-11.
