Basketball Recap: Arborbrook Christian Academy Starts off Right with Win over Socrates Academy

Arborbrook Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 95-47 victory over the Socrates Academy Owls. With the Falcons ahead 65-32 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Leading Arborbrook Christian Academy to victory were Ezra Briles and Ethan Jones. Briles went 8-for-10 en route to 20 points, while Jones almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Jones, who shot 75% from the field on his way to 17 points.

Coming up, Arborbrook Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Charlotte Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Socrates Academy has already played their next game (against Union Preparatory), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
