Softball Recap: Zeigler-Royalton Takes a Loss

Zeigler-Royalton was the 9-4 winner over Sparta when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes came up short against the Sparta Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 14-4.

Zeigler-Royalton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrianna Furlow-Hampton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Zeigler-Royalton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Zeigler-Royalton will head out to square off against Marion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sparta, they will face off against Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
