Football Game Preview: Holt Ironmen vs. American Christian Academy Patriots + How To Watch

Holt is 0-7 against American Christian Academy since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Ironmen will head out to face off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Holt put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They breezed past Tarrant to the tune of 52-18. The result was nothing new for the Ironmen, who have now won three contests by 32 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, American Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Tigers 56-42. The Patriots pushed the score to 49-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

American Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Holt will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Christian Davis, who rushed for 128 yards and three scores, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Drew Jackson, who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.

American Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Holt, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-5.

Holt was taken down by American Christian Academy 47-13 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Ironmen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
