Pembroke Pines Charter had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Coconut Creek Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pembroke Pines Charter took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-13.

Adrian Navarro paced Pembroke Pines Charter's offense, picking up 12 kills. Navarro got some help from Daniel Castro and his nine assists. Castro was also solid from the service line: he led the team with 16 aces.

Pembroke Pines Charter pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Coconut Creek, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pembroke Pines Charter will head out to face off against Cypress Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coconut Creek will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hallandale at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st.
