Softball Game Preview: Walton Braves vs. Choctawhatchee Indians

The Walton Braves will square off against the Choctawhatchee Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Choctawhatchee took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Walton, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Walton beat Freeport 4-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Bella Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alayah Dalton, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

Walton's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Choctawhatchee, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
