Basketball Game Preview: Lincolnwood Lancers vs. North Mac Panthers

Lincolnwood hasn't had much luck against North Mac recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lincolnwood Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Mac Panthers at 7:00 p.m. North Mac took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincolnwood, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Lincolnwood turned things around against Bunker Hill last Saturday. They walked away with a 59-50 win over the Minutemen.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-40, which was the final score in North Mac's tilt against Staunton on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 451st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 149th).

North Mac has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Lincolnwood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Lincolnwood was able to grind out a solid win over North Mac in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 48-38. Does Lincolnwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Mac turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
