Basketball Game Preview: Rodriguez Mustangs vs. Sacramento Dragons

The Rodriguez Mustangs will square off against the Sacramento Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rodriguez knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Sacramento likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, everything went Rodriguez's way against Wood as Rodriguez made off with a 72-49 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Sacramento came up short against Weston Ranch on Saturday and fell 69-61. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rodriguez is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.6 points over those games. As for Sacramento, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
