Somerville strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Belvidere County Seaters a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

Somerville's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Belvidere, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerville will take on South Hunterdon at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belvidere, they will square off against North Warren Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
