Basketball Game Preview: Deming Wildcats vs. Silver Fighting Colts

The Deming Wildcats will challenge the Silver Fighting Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Deming is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Deming came up short against Chaparral and fell 48-40.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Silver, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 56-47 victory over Santa Teresa on Tuesday.

Silver's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Deming, their loss dropped their record down to 1-19.

Deming was dealt a bruising 74-42 defeat at the hands of Silver in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Deming avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
