Hornell has gone 8-2 against Dansville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Red Raiders will face off against the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Hornell comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Hornell came up short against Haverling on Wednesday, falling 10-3. That's two games in a row now that the Red Raiders have lost by exactly seven runs.

Hornell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braydon Fouser, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dansville). Everything went their way against Warsaw on Saturday as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Brady Henchen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Henchen was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake Kreiley, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cam Delaney, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Hornell's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Dansville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
