Brandan Ridley Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is McIntosh's Brandan Ridley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ridley rushed for 174 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 45 receiving yards. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (106.2).
With the win, McIntosh broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Ridley and McIntosh will square off against Dutchtown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Christian Langford was instrumental in extending Langston Hughes's winning streak to five on Friday. Langford turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 40 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 188 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes.
Langston Hughes pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Langford and Langston Hughes will challenge Morrow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Newnan Gets a Boost from Maginnis in 38-6 Win
Hayes Maginnis posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 39 yards.
Newnan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Maginnis and Newnan will square off against Banneker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The second McIntosh player making an appearance here is Chase Cromartie, and for good reason. He threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. McIntosh is 3-1 when Cromartie posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
Cromartie and McIntosh will take on Dutchtown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cromartie will face off against Michael Johnson, the Bulldogs' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
