Volleyball Recap: Chickasha Takes a Loss

Chickasha lost against Tuttle back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Chicks came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Fighting Chicks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Chickasha was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-9.

KK Willard paced Chickasha's offense, picking up six kills. Willard got some help from Zoee Jones and her 12 assists. Avariona Sexton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chickasha now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Tuttle, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-13 record.

Coming up, Chickasha will challenge Tipton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuttle has already played their next matchup (against Blanchard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
