Basketball Recap: Coventry Comes Up Short

Coventry came up into this matchup off a tough 23-point defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Cumberland Clippers by a score of 40-38 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Oakers have suffered since January 9, 2024.

Coventry has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Cumberland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-12.
