Volleyball Recap: Cape Fear Takes a Loss

Cape Fear lost against Cleveland back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Colts fell 3-1 to the Rams.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Cleveland scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20.

Cape Fear's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cleveland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Fear will welcome Jack Britt at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cleveland, they will take on Ayden - Grifton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
