Soccer Game Preview: Wai'anae vs. Radford

The Wai'anae Seariders will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Radford Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wai'anae's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wai'anae fell victim to Waialua and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Bulldogs an easy 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Radford). They walked away with a 3-1 victory over 'Aiea on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Wai'anae's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Radford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Wai'anae might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Radford in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Wai'anae avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
