Softball Recap: South Comes Up Short

South had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Thunder Basin Bolts by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

The win keeps Thunder Basin at an undefeated 4-0.

South will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rock Springs at 3:30 p.m. on April 4. As for Thunder Basin, they will challenge Sheridan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give Thunder Basin their first taste of in-conference action this season.
