Penney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gallatin Bulldogs. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Penney's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Gallatin, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Penney will be playing in front of their home fans against Maysville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Penney has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Gallatin has already played their next matchup (against Milan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
