Baseball Game Preview: Port Chester Rams vs. Mamaroneck Tigers

Port Chester is 0-8-1 against Mamaroneck since May of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Port Chester has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Port Chester is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Mamaroneck, falling 12-3.

For Mamaroneck's part, LUCAS FREEDMAN looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, WILL PLUNKETT was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
