Soccer Recap: Weiser Takes a Loss

Weiser was the 2-1 winner over Fruitland when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday.

Weiser hit Fruitland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jackson Laird (2), Brayden Nordgren, and Ben Hansen.

Weiser's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fruitland, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Weiser will face off against rival Parma at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fruitland is set to challenge their familiar foe McCall-Donnelly at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
