Volleyball Recap: Red Mountain Falls Short Against Ranked ALA - Queen Creek

Red Mountain faced ALA - Queen Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mountain Lions fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Red Mountain and nudges their season record down to 14-9. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 29-7 record this season.

Red Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Mesa on the 22nd. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Poston Butte on the 22nd.
