Volleyball Recap: Oak Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Oak Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Halls on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Maryville Red Rebels on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Red Rebels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Oak Ridge was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 25-17.

Oak Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Maryville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Ridge will face off against Knoxville Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maryville, they will challenge West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
