Basketball Recap: Comstock Park Takes a Loss

Comstock Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hopkins Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Vikings since December 17, 2019.

Comstock Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Hopkins, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Comstock Park won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wellspring Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hopkins, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Kelloggsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
