Ohio Valley Christian entered their tilt with Elk Valley Christian on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.

Ohio Valley Christian was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-7, 25-21.

Ava Mollohan paced Ohio Valley Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mollohan got some help from Calli Whitmore and her 20 assists. Dixie Oliver controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Ohio Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Elk Valley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Ohio Valley Christian and Elk Valley Christian will both be playing Grace Christian the next time they take the court. Elk Valley Christian will host Grace Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Ohio Valley Christian will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
