Volleyball Game Preview: Wilton Warriors vs. Trumbull Eagles

The Wilton Warriors will square off against the Trumbull Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Wilton took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Greenwich 3-0.

Wilton never let Greenwich on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Trumbull had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Senators with a sharp 3-0 win.

Wilton's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2. As for Trumbull, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
