Baseball Game Preview: Dibble Demons vs. Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs

Dibble is 0-3 against Fort Cobb-Broxton since March of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Demons will welcome the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dibble comes in on three and Fort Cobb-Broxton on five.

On Monday, Dibble beat Velma-Alma 6-3.

Brayden Eldredge made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Eldredge was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since March 7th.

In other batting news, Dibble let Conner Vaquez and Kaden Barnett run wild. Vaquez got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Barnett got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Barnett has posted since March 3rd. Another player making a difference was Cameron Ott, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Fort Cobb-Broxton got the win against Chickasha on Saturday by a conclusive 8-1. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Fort Cobb-Broxton's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Dibble, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
