Senn dropped their record down to 8-3 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of Schurz by a score of 11-10. Senn was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Schurz earlier this season, when they won 12-2.

Jack Shanley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

As for Schurz, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. That's two games straight that they have won by just one run.

On Schurz's side, their win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mitchell Quiles, who got on base in four of his two plate appearances with two RBI. Another was Lionel H., who got on base in four of his two plate appearances.

Coming up, Senn is taking a road trip to challenge Prosser at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 11.9 runs per game this season. As for Schurz, they will host Disney II at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
