Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Academy lost against Junction City on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Mary's Academy Crusaders might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 53-17 to the Junction City Bluejays, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Junction City, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

St. Mary's Academy will head out on the road to challenge Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Junction City, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Washburn Rural at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
