Baseball Recap: South Fort Myers Wolfpack vs. Lakewood Ranch Mustangs
South Fort Myers fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Lakewood Ranch on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lakewood Ranch Mustangs by a score of 4-3. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Fernando Valenzuela spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in February.
