Campbell's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Yantis Owls. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered an 11-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Matthew Sweeney was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. He also got a hit, marking his first of the season. Drake Sweeney was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Campbell's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Yantis, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Campbell will challenge Sulphur Bluff at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sulphur Bluff's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Campbell's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Yantis, they will be playing at home against Saltillo at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
