Basketball Recap: Loara Comes Up Short

Loara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Katella Knights an easy 61-40 win. The Saxons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Loara's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Katella, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Loara and Nogales will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Katella, they will take on Paramount in a tournament on Thursday.
