Football Recap: Miller Place Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Miller Place has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were dealt a 56-28 loss at the hands of the Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Phantoms are ranked 31st).

Miller Place's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bayport-Blue Point, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

As of now, neither Miller Place nor the Phantoms have any future games scheduled.
