Basketball Recap: North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 52-38 to the Salome Frogs. The Gladiators were probably out for revenge after losing 50-22 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Salome, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Phoenix Preparatory Academy will take on Bagdad at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bagdad will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something North Phoenix Preparatory Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Salome, they will challenge San Pasqual Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
